Ivana Legin
Our Director and Therapist
Ivana Legin is a Counselling psychotherapist with a Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy degree and diverse experience in counselling. This experience includes working as a substitute High School teacher as well as a school counsellor, assisting children aged between 11 and 18 years.
Ivana has worked with clients from war affected communities to help express their internalised distress and assisted in helping them maintain their mental and physical wellbeing.
Having worked in the corporate world for 15 years, namely in the high-stress and deadline driven Media and Advertising industry, Ivana has gained knowledge and personal experience in workplace stress and burnouts. She has in the last 8 years worked with companies to help reduce workplace stress through stress management training and counselling.

WE UNDERSTAND STRESS AND ANXIETY
At Calm House Therapy we understand stress and anxiety and recognise that there is a fine line between the two. They both exhibit emotional response, however stress is produced by external stressors, while anxiety is a persistent, excessive worrying that does not go away (even in the absence of a stressor.) People suffering from one or both seek to find the calmness within the storm of the external or internal struggles.
At Calm House Therapy we believe that you need to truly know and accept yourself in order to achieve inner calm and understand that finding a meaningful way of living or self-actualising is a way to ultimately achieving this inner calm.

Our experienced psychotherapist provide a safe space for clients to explore their inner feelings and experience an empathic and authentic counselling process. We aim to assist in helping our clients discover meaningful ways of living through a deeper understanding of their lives and the elements that contribute to their stress or anxiety, or both.
WE PROVIDE TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS
Clients are provided with the convenience of accessing counselling from the privacy of their own home through virtual consultations.
Virtual consultations allow busy clients to cutout the travel time to their appointment and offer more time to focus on the session. This in turn can also reduce stress levels. Virtual sessions mean accessing help from anywhere in the country with complete confidentiality and perhaps an opportunity to be even more honest with one-self in the comfort of their safe space.
